The 37-year-old superstar will then travel to New Orleans to attend the Super Bowl, the grand championship game of American football. This highly anticipated event will take place at 6:30 AM on February 10 (Vietnam time), giving Messi ample time to attend.

This year’s Super Bowl is expected to have U.S. President Donald Trump in attendance. Additionally, pop superstar Taylor Swift will be present, alongside numerous celebrities from the American entertainment industry and other fields, according to Mail Sport (UK).

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, who will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the final. The Chiefs’ standout player, Patrick Mahomes, is a known admirer of Messi. Mahomes himself confirmed that Messi would be attending the Super Bowl.

Patrick Mahomes previously met Messi when Inter Miami played against Sporting Kansas City in 2024. The two teams will meet again in the first round of the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup.
